Well, it finally happened. We awoke to a beautiful snowy day!! The girls were SOOO excited when they looked out of the slider in my living room. The shrieks of joy could be heard across the Island. We were up before 6am in our house, so I figured that we would go outside before it started raining and getting slushy. We were in full SNOW gear by 8am and playing in the snow. My neighbors must have thought I was nuts. LOL
Fun was had by all and by late this afternoon it is beginning to melt. It was fun while it lasted.
Unfortunately, we had tickets to see Cinderella "on stage" at a local Children's Theater. The show was cancelled and I now have a gift certificate from them to go to another show. Oh well...I am done getting tickets for shows during the winter. Not the first time that the weather prevented us from going to some event I had pre-paid for. The SNOW was worth it though. It would have been even better if it was next week and we got a day off from school/work, but we'll take it!!!!

Oh, they are adorable in their pink and purple puffies!!1 Wasn't the snow fun? Hopefully we'll get one more good one before all is said and done. GP was still playing in the remnants of it today.
