Our new baby.....
We would like to introduce to our new puppy, Bella. Bella is a 6 month old Havanese. She is from Canada, so this was another international adoption. HEHEHE. Actually, the people who bought her from the breeder were unable to keep her and she found her way to us. It was meant to be. She is still a baby and needs more work in the training department, but she is well on her way! She listens to many commands: stay, down, come, no bite....inconsistently. But it is obvious that she was worked with and loved. She is SO affectionate! She gets excited, but she easily calms down and is content just lying there and allows you to pet her. The girls are in heaven!!! I have been researching different breeds for quite some time and felt I was going to wait until next year, but I couldn't pass up this opportunity when it was presented to me! I am so glad I decided she was right for our family!!! Isn't she too cute!

100 years of Disney On Ice
Today, Alyssa and I had a special "Mommy and Me" day. I try to do things alone with each of them, but I haven't done so in a long time. Alyssa and I went to see Disney on Ice today. The show was great. She was so excited and kept saying, "it's our special day, right, Mama!" So precious. She loved the show and I thought it was great too. Next month, Emily and I will be going into NYC for her special day. Lots of fun on the horizon!! Hope you enjoyed the pics of my cute "Minnie."

We're party animals, I tell ya!!!
The girls and I rang in the New Year with a quiet night alone. It was lots of fun with yummy snacks permitted to be eatin in the living room (oh my heavens lol), playing with the Wii, and betting on who would fall asleep first. Everyone tried to stay up til midnight. LOL. Alyssa made it until 9:37. Emily made it until 11:32. Oh so close!! I woke her up 3 minutes before midnight to count down with me...she groggily agreed and closed her eyes at 12:01am.
Welcome 2010. I hope you are good to us all. My wish for this year is to live life to its fullest, worry less, laugh often, and be more patient LOL. Of course, before that all is for all of my wonderful family and friends to have a HEALTHY year. This year could have started out worse, could have started out better. My Mom is now home from the hospital, which does my heart good. Home care will start tomorrow and the long road to wound care recovery will begin. We've been down this road before. It is not a welcomed road, but one we are familiar with. She is a trooper and will sail through it all with all of us right beside her!
Happy New Year to all of my friends and family!!!
