Alyssa joined Girl Scouts this year and it has been an amazing experience for her. She loves her leader and her leader is AMAZING. She puts hours and hours of time into planning the activities so that they girls earn patches and petals for their uniforms. The girls "get it" and each week Alyssa comes home telling us about the different thing she learned. Recently they have been working on being "caring and considerate." They speak alot of what it means to be good community members. The girls decided to make Easter baskets for the children in the hospital at Good Samritan hospital, located minutes from our house. The delivered the baskets as a group and were met by local political officials and hospital administrators to thank them for their "consideration." Aren't they the cutest???
