Today we ventured to New York City to see the "Greatest Show on Earth." The girls liked it a lot, but I have to say that I was disappointed. Sure, there were a lot of great parts, but all in all, it wasn't as good as when we went to the circus when I was a girl. There were no clowns shooting out of cannons, the clowns really didnt try to engage the crowd, the tigers just jumped over each other a few times, the horses gallopped in a circle.... I have to admit that I am not that "into" the whole circus scene but I did go to let my girls (and niece) experience the "Greatest show on Earth."
The girls were excited and thought the entire show was great..aside from the "boring tigers" LOL. However, while Emily thought it was good, she wondered why they call it the "Greatest show on Earth! Afterall, it was GOOD, but not the GREATEST." LOL
I could have saved a couple of hundred bucks LOL
ps...I was able to reminiss about my days of going on day trips with my Aunt. We NEVER got far before I was car sick and I always ended up getting a new outfit out of the day :-). In case anyone wants to know, there is a K Mart in Penn Station and they sell girls size 7-8. Just saying. LOL My poor punkin'. She couldn't be more like me if she came from my body LOL. She gets her flat feet and belly issues from my side of the family ;-)
