First day back to work for me....

Today was the first day back to work for me after a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable summer. Today was filled with all of those mandated inservices for teachers.....long and boring. Tomorrow will be much busier as I am running many of the workshops for staff development. The chldren start on Thursday...I am sure many tears from the little ones and the Moms as well :-(


Emily starts school tomorrow. Her lunch request has been made. The chosen outfit has been ironed, and she is fast asleep. Dreaming of the 1st grade adventures that await her, I am sure.


Alyssa starts school on Thursday....remember, I mentioned, the crying kids and Moms earlier in the post LOL. She attends the same school where I am the Educational Coordinator. I am not expecting a smooth transition for her, but I am prepared. Her teacher and support staff are prepared too. :-)

The BEST news I learned today....my first day back.....was that we have a FIVE day weekend for Columubs Day weekend. How did that get past me?????

I sense a weekend getaway in our future.......

Good luck to all of the kiddos starting school tomorrow. Hugs to the Moms who will be wiping tears aways as they send the kiddies off.....
