Our local Families with Children from China group is truly one of a kind. This group was my lifeline while I was waiting for both of my girls to come home. The ladies in this group have truly become my family. The sisters that I always wanted. We just "get" each other. We can talk about anything, laugh, cry, and just hang with one another and it is always a great time. There are a few of us who see each other outside of the "formal" group gatherings and I always love when we get together...with our without the kids. When we are all together, we just keep an eye out for each other's kids like they are all our own. That is FAMILY.
Recently, the larger FCC group had a Fundraiser for Earthquake relief. China is still suffering the after effects of the devastating Earthquake. We had SUCH a GREAT time!!!!! It was so relaxing and the kids just ran, ate, played, and got filthy. The perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I hope that you can tell how much fun it was by the smiles on these beautiful faces...
