On friday afternoon, I took a 1/2 day and went to Emily's class to read a book about Chinese New Year. Five year olds are just so cute!!! They are the sweetest bunch of kids. We read a book about Chinese New Year and then the children made Dragon masks. We then went on a parade with the Lion and the Dragons. It was so much fun and Emily was beyond excited!!!! Her teacher is just so great!!!!!!! In addition to what I did for the CNY, she did SO MANY activities with the children. Emily LOVED it and felt so important. She taught the children to count and to say hello and a couple of other things. Great for the self-esteem!!!
