hotel change in guangzhou

Hi there everyone! We hope you had a restful night as we were awake.
Today we visited the orphanage. It was a LOOONG and emotional day.
More about that in the next post. Apparently the Holiday Inn Shifu in
Guangzhou is overbooked and we lost our reservation. We have been
upgraded to the Garden Hotel. A 5 star hotel. Can't complain about
that, especially since it won't cost us any extra money :-) I am hoping
that it is still easy access to the Island for shopping. :-) :-) Two
more days and we move on to the next part of our journey.

I want to give a huge shout out to my amazing neighbors, Kate and Steve.
They have let my kids invade their house every evening so that we can
skype. It has made this trip so much easier being able to see them,
even though they don't typically have too much to say lol. Last evening
one of my BFFs came over to try to figure out the problem with my house
computer. She thought it was the router but it doesnt seem to be that.
The signal into the house is fine and so she left my Mom her lap top.
Missy, you rock!!! I was able to skype with my two sleepy heads this
morning.
