appointments or tours planned. I have enjoyed a quiet day with my girl
and she is taking a little nap so I figured I would give the update for
the day now!
We slept in...6:30 am. Yeah, that is sleeping in for this girl. She
will fit right in with the other two. Luckily she goes down early and
easily so hopefully that continues once we are home. We played for a
little this morning and then skyped with Mom and the girls. Since Missy
left her laptop, we were able to give Madi a little "house tour." It
was so cute. As we got to each room, she flipped through her little
photo album to find the picture. Now she keeps going to the page of her
bedroom and pointing to her bed and saying "Xiaoping." So cute.
After a long leisurely breakfast, we went for a walk around the West
Lake. It is so beautiful. There are people doing Tai Chi, playing
badminton, singing, and just gathering to walk. Madi did great and
walked for a long way. She was so excited to see balloons that I just
had to get one for her. She was so cute watching it float up and pulling
it down again. The simple pleasures of being a child. I have been
careful not to indulge her too much as not to over stimulate her. I
need to go shopping on Saturday for some treats for Christmas morning.
Santa will be making his delivery to her in America, but she will open a
couple of presents here too.
Hope everyone has a nice day. If you haven't finished your shopping,
you had better get done now!!!!!

I have been following each and every post. I know I don't comment a lot but I am always here. Maddi is absolutely precious! Her smile is contagious and she looks adorable in her head bands - LOVE IT! She is so blessed to have such a patient and understanding Mommy. I could not be happier for you all; you truly got a fantastic early Christmas present. I obviously don't know how long your are mandated to be in China but if the girls are looking for a playdate please give your mom my phone number. I just wanted to wish you and your 3 incredible daughters a Merry Christmas <3 xoxox
