Six years ago today I saw my Alyssa's sweet face for the very first time. It has been quite a journey, but it has been an honor to watch this fragile sweet baby flourish and blossom into the beautiful flower that she is. My sweet girl, you fought the good fight and you came out a winner. No one in this universe deserves the title of brave, courageous, and PERFECT more than you. For those friends and family close to us, they have witnessed your transformation...like a butterfly fighting to get out of its cacoon! I love you to the highest star, baby girl!!!!
It was fitting that Ali and I had a Mother-Daughter Tea with her Daisy Troop this weekend. I watch her interacting with her peers, happily trotting off to play with them and I still get choked up at times. There were days I never thought we would get there...but look at her now....6 years later...my perfect, beautiful girl!!! I can't believe it has been 6 years already....it's going too fast....

Beautiful thoughts for a beautiful child.. she is so precious and such a delight. Can't imagine our lives without you guys in it.. Happy Anniversary.. now can all the girls please stop growing up so fast!!!

It has been an incredible experience watching Ali blossom into the beautiful little girl she is today. I've told you before, God knew what He was doing when He made you Ali's Mama. You had the gifts and talents to bring her out of that cocoon and help her to grow. She is a delight!! Happy Anniversary!! Love you all!!
