Yesterday I recieved the email that I have been looking forward to. My LID!!! It is 8-10-11. This means that in approximately 60ish days, I will get my LOA. Some families have gotten it in 37 days, some have waited over 100 days for it. I am hoping to be on the lower end. The average wait is typically around 60-70 days. Once I get the LOA, I can file my I-800 forms to USCIS. Usually around 2 months after that I get Travel Approval. I am hoping to travel by the end of December (slightly possible) or January (more likely). Of course, timelines can change. Things can slow down or speed up. This is the part of the process that is highly unpredictable. I am keeping myself busy with the girls and getting ready for our Tag Sale.

I remember emailing with you more than once about this darling child! I knew that you had met her and I could hear the "wonder" of her in your emails at the time. Imagine my sheer delight to see that you were her mommy all along. Godspeed on your journey back to wonderful Madi!
