In less than 24 hours, I will be leaving to head to China. I am very excited to be given this wonderful opportunity. Love Without Boundaries is the organization that is funding this trip as well as 5 of the schools run in 5 different orphanages in China. They are an amazing group of dedicated people with the goal of helping children living in Chinese orphanages. A cause dear to my heart. I hope that I am able to share my passion for the children with these very special teachers. Teachers impact children on a daily basis. For the kids in orphanages, their teachers mean the world to them. The teachers are there because they care. They want to make a difference. They want to celebrate with the kids in each tiny accomplishment. Not so different then the teachers who I get the privileged to work with on a daily basis. I am so happy to be meeting a whole new group of enthusiastic, caring teachers. I hope that I can make a small difference in the way that they educate the very special children in their classes.
I hope to blog from time to time. If I can't, I will blog all about MY adventures when I return. Over and out.......
