Emily and I dropped by to visit our friend Jackie and her Mom today and the girls were so cute together. Emily's Brownie troop made Valentine's Cards for Jax. I have written about this precious girl before, she is a very special little girl. She was diagnosed with Leukemia on Christmas Eve 2006 and has endured a lot in the last two years, including a Bone Marrow Transplant. Her ability to go to school or play with other children is severely restricted as she is immune suppressed. Emily was THRILLED to be able to play with her for a while as I explained that we couldn't stay and that we could only talk to Jackie outside so as not to spread any germs to her. Luckily we were all in good health and we were able to sneak a quick play date in. We can't wait for some warm weather so we can have a longer outside play date!!
