My Ballerina Girl

The picture may not express just how excited my girl was, but trust me SHE.WAS.SO.EXCITED!!! We arrived to the studio early so that she could check things out before she had to begin her class. She chatted with the teacher and they went over the "rules of dancing school" LOL. We had been explaining the rules of dancing school all week, so she had them all memorized.

When it was time to go into the class, I held my breath and IN.SHE.WENT. With not a hesitation, not a tear (okay, SHE didn't have a tear...I on the other hand....) and no signs of anxiety. SHE DID AWESOME!!!! There are 6 little girls in the class with the teacher and the teacher assistant. Nice small class to start. I am sure it will grow. She followed every single directive. She partiipated in every single aspect of the class. She didn't run around or swing on the bar when the other little sweeties got excited. She smiled during the entire 60 mintues. Let's just say that my heart was beating a mile a minute and it was overflowing with pride. I wanted to shout......YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HUGE THIS IS!!!! YOU WOULD NOT HAVE RECOGNIZED THIS LITTLE GIRL A YEAR AGO!! LOOK AT HER!!!!! SHE IS DOING IT!!!! SHE IS HAPPY!!!! SHE IS PART OF THE GROUP!!!

I am so proud of you Ali girl. Every time I raise the bar for you, you just prove to me that I can raise it again. You and your sister are a dream come true!!!!
