Both of my girls have terrific teachers this year. They were so sensitive with dealing with the "Father's" Day issue for both of my girls. My girls are actually fine with it (for now at least) and understand that while they don't have a "dad" they have lots of people who love them. Alyssa's Godfather (Uncle Larry) is wonderful and my brothers always do special things for the girls to make they feel included. The girls both (on their own) decided that they wanted to make Father's Dad gifts for Uncle Tommy this year. The teacher's made them so extra special. They tailored the poems and cards to say special "Uncle" and really made it nice. The girls couldn't wait to run down to my Mom's to wake up Uncle Tommy. Here he is opening up all of his special gifts. He made out pretty well if I do say so myself!!
