What can I say about Emily. She is smart, funny, and very sensitive. She has had a terrific year. She got a straight A report card and none of it would have been possible without her TERRIFIC teacher (on the right). Mrs. R was so creative and inventive in her way to get the children motivated to learn. She had different "journals" and things for the children to take home every several weeks. In the different backpacks were jobs or fun things for them to do and they had to keep a journal about the weekend. Emily's face was ALWAYS beaming when she had a turn to take home one of Mrs. R's special backpacks. Emily amazes me with the ease with which she learns things. She has gotten off to a great start and we were so blessed to have had such a GREAT teacher as our "first." I can only pray that Ali gets her when she enters school. Mrs. R has already expressed to me how much she would love to have Ali in her class.....and she knows the deal :-0The classes put together a fabulous show! unfortunately Emily's little friends are in all of the pictures so I cannot post them here. But trust me when I tell you that a bunch of 5 and 6 years olds singing on the top of their lungs with sunglasses and party hats on is THE CUTEST thing on earth!!
Way to go Emily....I am so excited to see what FIRST grade brings!!
