2 days in a row.........

Well, two nights in a row, Alyssa has done her thing in the potty. Yes, we have photos to prove it, but I will spare you the graphics LOL. She still really requests a "wipe" which means she has to go and would really like a pull up or a diaper. I haven't given in and two days in a row she got it!! She was SO EXCITED and PROUD of herself. The look of relief and pride that overcame her both times was just too precious.
My next obstacle is her teacher. She had two accidents (not pee lol) in her pants last week and so the teacher said she really had to put a pull up on her since they "don't have the staff to keep cleaning her up." Last week I said okay since WE really hadn't had success at home so how fair was it to THEM. BUT, deep down I knew that this was not the answer. Sending her mixed messages. Monday I am going to take all of the pull ups out of the classroom and tell them that I DO NOT want her put in a pull up under any circumstances. She KNOWS what to do and HOW to do it. Giving her the option of going in a pull up is simply UNACCEPTABLE. If she fights me, I will just add it in as a goal on her IEP... hehehee, there is always a way. She has that thing for a reason!!
They may not love me, but tough %^$#. They were the ones who pushed the issue (rightfully so). So we are on board....there is no turning back now. I am so proud of my girl. Let's hope this is it......no more pull ups!!!
My pocketbook is thanking her already!!!

We are SO not there yet - but potty boot camp IS coming... EFP is moving up to the 3/4 yo Pre-school room and she will have to sit on the potty a few times a day just like her friends... let's keep fingers and toes crossed. She has been asking to go - but still prefers under the dining room table for "bizness" - ugh.

Sounds like all is otherwise well -can't believe the girls are 3 already! Went so fast... and now my boy is here... WOW! Can't wait for you to meet him... he is a smiley happy little guy! Hugs & Let's plan a play date* (LOL).

(For us - the kids play enough - LOL)
