We were hopeful for little Jackie to get back to the swing of being a typical active 4 year old. Her Mom is one of the few posters to our "comments" section of this blog. Today her family recieved the devastating news that she has relapsed. She and her family can use any good thoughts and prayers that yu have to offer. This little girl is a fighter in every sense of the word. So is her Mama who has never left her side througout this ordeal. Cindy has the heartbreaking job of breaking the news to Jackie tonight as well as to tell her two teenage daughters who simply adore their baby sister.

Please keep them all in your prayers as they will certainly need in the months to come. As I understand it, the next course of treatment will include a bone marrow transplant. I am just saddened to hear this news today.

It is also Chinese New Year. The year of the Rat. The new year signifies new beginnings and new life. We are hopeful that Jackie will get the treatment that she needs and that in fact, the year 2008 WILL BE HER YEAR OF A NEW BEGINNING!!!!! We love you Jackie. We will be praying for you, sweet girl. Jackie always has a bounce in her step and a smile on her face. She is a strong girl.....and she WILL beat this.
